AIWAYS Auto, a Chinese EV maker, was established in 2017. AIWAYS has established its headquarters and technical center in Shanghai, and it has a wholly-owned subsidiary, AIWAYS Gumpert Automobile Co., Ltd. in Germany. The company, with Mr. Roland Gumpert serving as the executive director of the German subsidiary, also has a forward-looking technology laboratory in Detroit, USA. AIWAYS has successively built Shangrao Automobile Manufacturing Base and Shanghai Jiading Technology Center, Changshu battery pack factory and other R&D and manufacturing infrastructure.
