Venucia (Qichen, or Chinese “启辰”) is a sub-brand of Dongfeng Motor Company Limited (DFL). Earlier, Dongfeng-Venucia belonged to a joint venture brand with Japan, it was a JV of Dongfeng-Nissan.
However, on February 7th 2017, Dongfeng Venucia brand became a part of DFL, it is no longer a part of Dongfeng-Nissan, its establishment means that Venucia brand is totally a Chinese vehicle brand under DFL.
