LYNK&CO (Chinese name: “领克”) is a premium vehicle brand jointly established by Geely Holding Group, Geely Automobile Group and Volvo Car Group. It integrates European technology, European design, global manufacturing, and global sales. The CMA basic module architecture jointly developed by Geely Automobile and Volvo Car was established.
On August 4, 2017, Geely Holding Group and Volvo Cars formally signed an agreement at the Geely Hangzhou Bay R&D Center. The two parties established a technology joint venture company. At the same time, Lynk & Co. Automotive joint venture was also announced, Geely Automobile holds 50% of the shares and Volvo Cars holds 30% shares, Geely Holding holds 20% shares. Volvo’s shareholding is a strong endorsement of the Lynk & Co brand, consolidating the positioning of the high-end brand in the new era, and helping Lynk & Co’s globalization process
On October 20, 2016, Lynk & Co brand was officially released in Berlin, Germany, Lynk & Co 01 is the first model developed based on the CMA basic module architecture;
On August 31, 2018, Lynk&Co’s first sedan, Lynk&Co 03 debuted at Chengdu International Auto Show;
