On June 1, 2019, DENZA Concept X concept car debuted at the Shenzhen-Hong Kong-Macau International Auto Show. The design of DENZA Concept X was led by the Mercedes-Benz China Advanced Design Center.
DENZA Concept X adopts the sci-fi style design idea, there is a matrix electronic screen at the front bumper area, it will offer both all-electric and PHEV version, range will be up to 310miles(500km) .
In terms of appearance, the design of DENZA Concept X is very sci-fi, the front face adopts grille-less design, the sharp lamp group runs through the front face, the lower part has ring LED lamp group at both sides, the center of the lower “grille” area is equipped with an electronic screen composed of matrix light source, which is full of futuristic.
The rear end design is also very nice, the unique taillight light bar is outstanding, excellent luggage rack and large-sized sports wheels, forming a simple, future sci-fi design, echoes the front face.
The streaming rearview camera replaces the traditional exterior mirrors and is elegant and sophisticated. The roof contour descends from the B-pillar to the rear of the car, forming a soothing arc.
The concave 23-inch wheels, the rim spokes is similar to the shape of DENZA’s badge, with unique copper decoration and red ring on the wheel hub, it is really personality.
Denza Concept X will be powered by plug-in hybrid or pure electric motor, official claimed 0-100km/h acceleration time will be less than 5 seconds, range of the pure electric version will reach 310miles(500km).
