On January 28, we obtained the official map of the Jetour JMK Traveler (Chinese name “Silver Dragon Wing” or “银龙之翼”) from the Jetour brand official. According to previous information, the car will be launched on January 28. The new car is based on the current Jetour Traveler and has a more rugged overall look.
The overall design of the new car adopts a tough body style. The new car has a new front bumper, and it is also equipped with M/T mud tires, which can provide sufficient grip on non-paved roads. In addition, the new car has a storage platform on the roof, which meets the convenience of loading bulky luggage for outdoor travel. The rear also has equipment such as a lamp group guard net, which looks more imposing overall.
In terms of body size, the length, width, and height are 4782/2036/1960mm respectively, and the wheelbase is 2800mm. In terms of power, the new car is equipped with a 2.0T engine with a model number of SQRF4J20 produced by Chery Automobile Co., Ltd., with a maximum power of 187 kW. The transmission system is matched with a 7-speed wet dual-clutch transmission. In addition, the Jetour Traveler four-wheel drive model is equipped with XWD full-automatic intelligent four-wheel drive, which adopts BorgWarner’s sixth-generation intelligent torque manager + intelligent limited-slip differential lock, and has functions such as automatic switching of four-wheel drive mode, automatic distribution of rear wheel torque, and intelligent distribution of power output.
