On February 18, 2023, Yuanhang Auto officially launched the Yuanhang H8, a large electric SUV priced between RMB 349,800 and RMB 559,800. It is the second model launched by Yuanhang Auto and features a 2+2+2 six-seater layout.
The Yuanhang H8 adopts a family-style design language with a simple and elegant appearance. It measures 5,230/2,015/1,760mm in length, width, and height, with a wheelbase of 3,126mm. The interior features 2+2+2 seating, Nappa leather seats, 14-way electric adjustment for the driver and front passenger, facial recognition entry system, voice recognition control, streaming rearview mirror, LED headlights, automatic headlights and automatic high/low beam switching, heated and electrically adjustable exterior mirrors with automatic folding and anti-glare, and electric legrest for the second-row seats.
In terms of intelligent and safety features, the new car is equipped with the same intelligent air suspension and advanced intelligent driving system as the Yuanhang H6, including TJA traffic congestion assistance, HWA high-speed cruise assist, ALC turn signal lane change, LCK lane centering keeping, FSRA full-speed adaptive cruise, RCTB rear cross-traffic braking, AEB automatic emergency braking, as well as DMS fatigue driving monitoring, APA fully automatic parking, RPA remote parking, blind spot monitoring, and L2-level driving assistance system.
In terms of power, the Yuanhang H8 is available in rear-wheel drive with a single rear motor or all-wheel drive with front and rear dual motors. The rear-wheel drive model has a maximum power of 250kW and peak torque of 400N·m, with a 0-100km/h acceleration time of 6.5 seconds. The all-wheel drive model is available in two tunes, with a maximum power of 500kW or 520kW and peak torque of 745N·m or 850N·m, respectively, with a 0-100km/h acceleration time of 3.8 seconds for both. The top speed of all models is 210km/h.
In terms of battery, the Yuanhang H8 is equipped with a ternary lithium battery pack across the board, offering three battery capacities and five ranges:
- The rear-wheel drive model with a battery capacity of 88.42kWh has a CLTC range of 610 kilometers.
- The all-wheel drive model with a battery capacity of 88.42kWh has a CLTC range of 560 kilometers.
- The rear-wheel drive model with a battery capacity of 100kWh has a CLTC range of 700 kilometers.
- The all-wheel drive model with a battery capacity of 100kWh has a CLTC range of 650 kilometers.
- The all-wheel drive model with a battery capacity of 150kWh has a CLTC range of 950 kilometers.
According to official data provided by Yuanhang Auto, the Yuanhang H8 takes 0.5 hours to charge from 20% to 80% in fast charging mode. The slow charging time has not yet been announced. Additionally, the Yuanhang H8 is available with an optional external discharge function with a maximum output power of 3.3kW.
