We learned from the Borgward official that the 2019 Borgward BX5 model was officially launched recently. Compared with the 2017 model, the appearance and interior are kept the same. 2019 Borgward BX5 launched total of four models with 1.4T+6AT power combination that meets China-VI emission standard. The price range is 129,800 – 155,800 yuan, price keeps the same as the old models. In addition, the configuration of new car has also been upgraded.
Borgward BX5 made its debut at 2016 Beijing Auto Show, it is positioned in a compact SUV. Body size are 4,48×1,876×1,677 (mm) and the wheelbase is 2,685 mm.
Appearance looks young and dynamic, the front face adopts Borgward family-style hexagonal grille design, and the inside of the grille is black straight waterfall type banner.
2019 Borgward BX5 has been upgraded in configuration. For example, all models are equipped with active tire pressure monitoring, some are equipped with rear air conditioning air outlet and electric tailgate, front parking radar.
In terms of power, 2019 Borgward BX5 continues to be powered by a 1.4T inline four-cylinder engine with maximum power of 150ps and peak torque of 250 Nm, which meets China-VI emission standards, while the transmission system only matches the 6-speed AMT transmission.
