At the 2023 Shanghai Auto Show, Human Horizon, a Chinese EV startup, unveiled its 3rd EV, the HiPhi Y. The new car is positioned as a pure electric medium-sized SUV. As the third model under HiPhi brand, the appearance of HiPhi Y still continues the family-style design style, focusing on the style of a high-tech luxury SUV.
The front of the car is still designed with bar-type daytime running lights, and the lower light group is expected to have the same programmable intelligent headlights and ISD intelligent interactive lights as HiPhi X. In addition, the new car is also equipped with lidar above the front windshield, which is expected to have more advanced assisted driving capabilities.
The side lines of HiPhi Y’s body are soft and simple, and the visual effect of the vehicle is particularly slender. The large-sized petal-shaped wheels also add a lot of sportiness to the body. It is worth mentioning that the new car uses the same wing door as the HiPhi X, which is very cool when the door is opened. In terms of body size, the length, width and height are 4938/1958/1658mm respectively, and the wheelbase is 2950mm. The new car will also adopt front double wishbone and rear five-link independent suspension.
The design style of the rear is relatively simple. When the blackened bar-type taillights are lit, the light source has a good texture and extends to both sides of the car body, which has good recognition. At the same time, the black bumper below also adopts a sporty shape that echoes the front of the car.
In terms of power, according to previous information, the maximum output power of the new car is 247kW and 371kW respectively, the battery capacity will be equipped with 76.6kWh and 115kWh, and the cruising range is divided into 560km, 765km and 810km according to different models.
