With the delivery of the new car, IM Motors will also officially launch the GPT, making intelligent voice conversations more vivid. IM is a brand new intelligent electric vehicle startup jointly built by SAIC Group, Zhangjiang High-tech, and Alibaba Group. As the third model of IM Motors, IM LS6 is also positioned as mid to large SUV, but the body size is slightly smaller than IM LS7. The new car adopts a brand new 800V high-voltage platform, with a maximum working voltage of up to 875V. It can recharge up to 500 kilometers after 15 minutes of charging. In addition, the new car is equipped with a full frame digital cockpit screen, POPO cloud seats, intelligent driving assistance functions including city NOA, one click AI driving, and standard 20 speakers.
The appearance of the new car still adopts a family style design style, and the “L” style front headlights on both sides are highly recognizable. Combined with the ventilation design on both sides of the bumper, it further enhances the visual tension.
IM LS6 features a coupe SUV design on the side, with a drag coefficient of only 0.237Cd. In terms of body size, the new car has a length/width/height of 4904/1988/1669mm and a wheelbase of 2950mm. Additionally, depending on the configuration, the new car will also provide 20 inch or 21 inch wheels. The rear of the new car is very sexy, with the upturned ducktail design showcasing performance style, and the tail light design is also very eye-catching.
Entering the car, the new car still continues its family style design style, officially known as the full frame digital cockpit. Its operating system is developed based on native Linux system, which can achieve full digital field of vision blind patch, rain night mode, and intelligent generative GPT. In addition, the new car will be available with both full spoke and half spoke steering wheels, and will also be equipped with 20 speakers as standard. In terms of intelligent driving assistance, IM LS6 can achieve high-speed elevated NOA covering 12 provinces and 26 cities by picking up the car.
In terms of power, the new car will provide single motor rear wheel drive and dual motor four-wheel drive versions. The maximum power of the single motor version is 250kW, with a peak torque of 450 Nm. The comprehensive power of the dual motor four-wheel drive version is 579kW, with a peak torque of 800N · m. In addition, the quasi 500V version accelerates from 0-100km/h in 5.9 seconds and has a range of 680km/h and 560km/h respectively. The maximum working voltage is as high as 875V, with a range of 702km and 760km, respectively. Charging for 15 minutes can supplement the range of up to 500km, and the acceleration time from 0-100km/h is 3.48 seconds.
