On November 1st, CHERY EXEED VX (Chinese “揽月” or Lanyue) International Edition was officially launched, it will be sold both in China and international market, it is offered by a total of three trim levels, priced between 228,900 and 238,900 yuan in China. Previously, the car had already been unveiled during the 2023 Geneva Auto Show, and as a new model, the appearance and configuration of the new car have been upgraded to create a different visual effect.
CHERY EXEED VX is based on the M3X Mars architecture 2.0, the international edition is similar in design to the old model. The front face features a large octagonal grille, the interior is a horizontal grille, which enhances the visual width of the front. In addition, the heat dissipation openings on both sides of the front bumper are also equipped with LED daytime running light sets, making the overall combination more fashionable.
We can still see the classic body contour lines on the side of the car, with chrome plated window frames paired with straight roof lines, and a waistline design that runs through the body, making the new car look even thicker. In addition, the new car is also equipped with dense spoke chrome wheels, further enhancing the overall aura of the vehicle.
The rear design is flatter. The new car is equipped with a roof spoiler, the rear window glass is also paired with a rear wiper, and the tail light group adopts a through design of smoked black lamp housing, which is more recognizable when lit at night. In addition, the new car has longitudinal reflective panels on both sides of the rear end, and the rear bumper is adorned with through chrome decorative strips. It is also paired with a dual exhaust layout on both sides, giving the overall design a more three-dimensional feel.
The interior of the car is still a dual color body layout, and the international version is equipped with a triple screen. A panel integrates the LCD instrument panel, central control screen, and passenger screen together. The new car will be equipped with Qualcomm Snapdragon 8155 flagship chip and Lion5.0 Lion ecosystem, complemented by CVBOX in car visual control system. In addition, EXEED VX International Edition has added a pure black interior, creating a more unified visual style and enhancing the high-end feel of the interior. The dual 50W wireless smart fast charging area is also synchronously equipped with faux suede cushions, further enhancing the exquisite interior. Coupled with heat dissipation function, phone charging is safer and more stable.
In terms of power, the new car is powered by a 2.0T turbocharged four cylinder engine, with a maximum power of 261 horsepower and a maximum torque of 400 N.m. The transmission system is matched with the Aisin 8AT automatic transmission and the all-new Borg Warner 6th-gen four-wheel drive system.
