On August 26, the Chengdu Auto Show officially kicked off. The SAIC Roewe brand brought its all-new medium-to-large SUV, the Roewe RX9, to consumers. It is reported that the new car will be officially launched in September.

In terms of appearance, the Roewe RX9 is based on the industrial aesthetic design concept of “emotional rhythm”. Specifically, the new car is equipped with a star grille, with sharp and tangible round silver headlights, which is very recognizable. In terms of body size, the new car has a length, width and height of 4983/1967/1786mm and a wheelbase of 2915mm. It is positioned as a medium and large SUV and provides a three-row 6-seat/7-seat layout.

In terms of interior, the new car adopts a triple-screen design consisting of full LCD instrumentation + large-sized central control screen + LCD screen in front of the co-pilot (47-inch triple-screen, which realizes driving information, control of in-vehicle equipment, and entertainment functions at the same time for three-screen linkage. ), with a three-spoke multi-function steering wheel, a new gear handle shape, etc., so that the texture of the new car has been well improved. It is worth mentioning that below the triple screen, the car is equipped with hidden air-conditioning outlets and piano-style multimedia keys, with a prominent sense of hierarchy. In addition, the bottom of the handle is hollowed out to form a layered storage space to improve the convenience of daily use.

In terms of power, the new car is equipped with a 2.0T engine produced by SAIC Motor Corporation, with a maximum power of 234 horsepower. In terms of transmission, it is matched with a 9AT gearbox. According to people familiar with the matter, the Roewe RX9 will be equipped with a CDC intelligent electronically controlled suspension damping system, which can ensure that the vehicle has a diverse chassis performance that adapts to it under different road conditions and driving modes.
