As an all-new MPV model, the new car adopts Roewe’s latest car logo and family-style front face, the whole car has a sporty and fashionable feel. It is expected to be listed in the second half of the year, with a starting price of about 180,000 yuan. In the future, it will mainly compete with GAC Trumpchi GM8, Buick GL8, SAIC Volkswagen and other models in the Chinese market.
The Roewe iM8 concept car has a very good-looking front face. The large-scale front grille that runs through the front of the car uses an all-new style grille, which is a bit like the charm of Toyota Alphard. The air intake grille is integrated with the matrix LED headlight group, and the large air inlets are on the two sides below the grille, it is more in line with the high-end MPV product positioning.
On the side of the body, the new car uses a blackened window and roof color scheme, which has a strong business atmosphere. At the same time, both sides are designed with side pullers, which is in line with its high-end MPV positioning, but also more practical.
It is expected that the length/width/height of the new car will be 4722/1835 / 1464mm, and the wheelbase will be 2715mm, which is the current standard compact car body. In terms of the power system, the new car will be equipped with a 1.5T four-cylinder turbocharged engine with a maximum power of 173 horsepower. A PHEV model may also be launched.
